Madras Sambar Podi - Madras Curry Powder

Madras Sambar Podi 

Ingredients to make 1000 gms:
  1. Coriander seeds 400 gms
  2. Red chilli 400 gms
  3. Toor dal 100 gms
  4. Channa dal 50 gms
  5. Pepper 1 table spoon
  6. Jeera  1 table spoon
  7. Fenugreek  ½ table spoon
  8. Mustard 2 teaspoon
  9. Raw rice 2 teaspoon
Preparation:
Dry roast the coriander seeds for a minute and keep it aside. Dry roast the red chillies and keep aside. Roast the rest of the ingredients. Grind this in a flour mill. (If you have a very heavy duty mixie from India, you can try grinding it in your home in two or three portions)

Note: The taste and flavor depends on the freshness and the quality of the ingredients.Keep it in an airtight glass container to preserve its flavor.
