Sigli (எள்ளுபொடி உருண்டை)



Ingredients
Clean and dust free Sesame seeds 100 gms
Jaggery  ½ to 1 table spoon  - powdered
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Heat the kadai for 5 minutes. Roast the seeds stirring them continuously till spluttering stops. After this cools down, powder the seeds to a coarse consistency. Add the Jaggery ,cardamom powder and grind for a few more seconds. Make this into small balls.

The seeds are exceptionally rich in iron, magnesium, manganese, copper, and calcium  and contain vitamin B1 (thiamine) and vitamin E. It has been proven that the nutrients of sesame seeds are better absorbed if they are ground before consumption. This sweet is very healthy especially for ladies.
