Tomato Chutney-Plain
தக்காளி சட்னி
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - big 6
 - Green chillies 4 to 5
 - Hing a pinch
 - Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
 - Oil - 4 teaspoons
 - Salt to taste
 
Preparation
- Grind tomatoes, chillies and hing together to a smooth paste.
 - In a pan add the oil and add the mustard seeds. After the mustard splutters add the ground paste.
 - Boil for 5 minutes till the raw flavor of the tomato disappears.
 - Remove from flame once it starts to thicken.
 
Goes well with Dosas and idlis.
